CACAO

Cacao is the principal ingredient in our Nibs

Our organic Cacao comes from Urabá, Antioquia. This terrain is one of the 34 most biodiverse places in the world and its very rich in hydric resources. The region is surrounded by virgin mountains that make part of the Abibe mountain range and the caribbean sea.

The Cacao nib consists of breaking the cacao bean into little pieces after its natural fermentation process.

FREEZE DRIED FRUIT

Natural is a must for us, and we take care of our ingredients during the process of making our products to keep the most nutrients as possible. That is why we use freeze dried fruit in our chocolate covered cacao nibs. This drying process keeps as much as 99% of the nutrients, since the fruit is not exposed to high temperatures. This drying process allows our product to naturally have a longer shelf life.

ERYTHRITOL

Erythritol is a substance that is naturally present in fruits and vegetables, we use it as a sweetener. 

This does not count as an added sugar because it does not spike insulin or blood sugar and its used in small amounts.

This is one of the sugar alcohols with natural origin that is recognized by its low glycemic index and caloric input. Erythritol can be found in some fruits such as grapes, pears and melon.
